哈罗德茶室坐落于上海兴业太古汇商业综合体最南端。原本是一座建于1920年代，融合了巴洛克风格与德国新古典主义风格的百年大宅。

The Harrods Tea Rooms is located at the southernmost end of the Shanghai Xingye Taikouhui Commercial Complex.It was a century-old mansion originally built in the 1920s, that well blended Baroque style and German neoclassical style.

这座融合了欧洲艺术与海派文化的百年建筑每一寸细节都是上海历史和文化的见证。该建筑最初为上海巨贾邱氏兄弟拥有，后于1940年租借给民立中学，在1999年获评上海市优秀历史建筑。2010年这栋历经近百年的花园洋房又经历了一次历史性的修缮，是当时极少数由企业出资进行的历史建筑保护项目之一。修缮完成后整幢建筑平移了57.3米，为纪念香港兴业国际集团创始人查济民博士，大宅正式被命名为查公馆。

Every detail of this century-old building with European art and Shanghai style culture, bears witness to Shanghai's unique history and culture. This building, at first, was owned by a Shanghai tycoon，the Qiu brothers. In 1940, it was leased to the Minli Middle School. In 1999, it was awarded the Outstanding Historical Building of Shanghai. In 2010, this nearly century-old garden bungalow underwent a historic renovation, which was one of the few historical building preservation projects funded by enterprises at that time. After the completion of the renovation, the whole building moved 57.3 meters. In memory of Dr. Cha Jimin, the founder of Hong Kong Societe General International Group, the mansion was officially named the Cha Mansion.

Harrods, a century-old British London department store, opened the first Harrods Tea Rooms in Cha Mansion in China, bringing Chinese consumers a pure British afternoon tea experience. The overall design retains the original appearance of the historic building, and the interior design uses the British style of Harrods, which making the architectural style and the interior style highly unified. The interior lighting design uses Reggiani MOOD and YORI series lamps. The Reggiani lamps from Italy combine their modern and elegant product shape with the interior European style. The high-color lamps make the indoor environment quiet and warm, and create an elegant atmosphere of quiet in the whole noisy restaurant. So that every customer can experience a light luxury.
