On December 28th, 2024, the "Inquiring the Moon - Lunar Samples Exhibition of China's Chang'e-5 Lunar Exploration Mission" opened at the first-floor exhibition hall of Building B in the Beijing Planetarium. Centered around the lunar samples brought back by the Chang'e-5 mission, the "Inquiring the Moon" exhibition employs comprehensive and multi-layered display techniques to lead the public into the mysterious world of the Moon. It delves into the scientific secrets hidden within the lunar soil and explores the true nature of this celestial body. The exhibition revolves around a well-designed scientific framework, combined with 10 guiding questions, divided into three chapters: "Saying the moon", "embracing the moon" and "stepping on the moon", which are advanced step by step. From the past to the future, from macro to micro, the exhibition reveals the mystery of Chang 'e-5 lunar soil step by step. The centerpiece of the exhibition is the Chang'e-5 lunar samples of varying particle sizes, presented in multiple dimensions to offer the public an unprecedented opportunity to observe and interact with lunar soil.
